These are 100% human hair wigs, and they last one to two years with normal care. What shortens that is almost always the same three habits.
A human hair wig fails in two places: the ends and the lace. The ends go dry and start to tangle; the lace tears at the front or the knots let go. Both are avoidable, and both come from things done at home rather than defects in the wig.
Washing
- Every eight to ten wears, not weekly. A wig has no scalp feeding it oil, so washing it on a natural-hair schedule strips it.
- Co-wash rather than shampoo. If you do shampoo, use a sulphate-free one and keep it away from the knots at the lace.
- Condition the lengths, never the cap. Conditioner on the knots loosens them, and loose knots are how shedding starts.
- Cool water and downward strokes. Never scrub in circles; that is what creates the tangle at the nape.
- Air dry on a stand, not a towel-rub. Wet hair is at its weakest and a towel is abrasive.
Detangling
Wet, with conditioner in, from the ends upwards, with a wide tooth comb. Never dry, never from the roots, never with a paddle brush. This one habit accounts for more dead wigs than everything else combined.
Heat
It is real hair, so it takes heat, and it burns like real hair. Under 300°F with a protectant is safe and repeatable. Above that you are trading the second year of the wig for one good night, and a loose wave pattern that has been flat-ironed at 400°F does not come back.
Sleeping
The single highest-value habit: braid it loosely and put a satin bonnet on, or use a satin pillowcase. Cotton pulls moisture out of the hair and abrades the ends. A wig slept in loose on cotton will look a year old in three months.

What a year of normal wear looks like
The listings state a one to two year lifespan with normal care, and that matches what this hair is: unprocessed human hair at a heavy density. Expect the wave to loosen over time, the ends to want a trim after six to eight months, and the lace to be the first thing that genuinely wears out.
